This festive red chiffon dress is c/o Kristine's Collection. I paired it with a dark blue faux leather biker jacket and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell lookalike boots to add some edginess to the overall look. And me being me, I couldn't resist sneaking in some polka dots too ^^
It must be Christmas filling the air, I have this strong urge to bake cinnamon buns, cinnamon oatmeal chocolate chips cookies, and basically anything that has cinnamon. Hahaha.
We have been sipping a lot of mulled wine (a hot spiced wine) lately. We had our first mulled wine on Rialto Bridge while on our honeymoon. I remember it was a very cold evening thus we were more than eager to try their hot mulled wine. LOL! And thankfully it was delicious!
It is really easy to make mulled wine. I tweaked Spice Hunter's recipe a little...
1.5 tbsp. mulling spices
1 bottle red wine (preferably burgundy)
1 cup sweet vermouth
1/4 cup brown sugar or honey
Add everything in a pot, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve hot with a cinnamon stick (optional).
