I am very smitten by the LV spring 2012 collection and of course, there is no way I could afford them. Thus when I saw this sleeveless lace shirt and lace pencil skirt I just have to have them. For the amount of saving, I can overlook the fact that my lace shirt doesn’t have those delicious collars spotted in LV collection. But the secret is….. I just secretly yearning for those collars too! Shhhhhh…..
So I must shamelessly admit that this outfit is very much inspired by LV spring 2012 collection. Please don’t throw rotten tomatoes at me. I know it looks nothing like the real McCoy but I was inspired by the way they styled laces & pastels.
I think this outfit is ageless. You can wear it whether you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s or even 60s! I could see myself wearing this when I am 60 but probably with a pair of more sensible footwear as 5-inch stiletto won't be that safe for the 60 year-old me. Hahaha!
I was never a fan of metallic apparels. However, ever since I got this pair of shimmery muted gold socks from Primark, I am hooked on metallic!!! I subsequently bought a silver sweater & a pair of silver heels! How would one know a pair of socks could have such a huge impact on one’s wardrobe?
I never would have guessed that your clothes came from Forever 21! They are so gorgeous, they really do seem ageless. I love the way you've styled the pastel trend, it seems a lot more accessible than the runways shows anyways.
