Flax Seed

Lately, I like to incorporate flaxseed into my baking. It's an easy way to add nutrients into our diet without appearing like a health freak. HAHAHA!

So what are the benefits of consuming flaxseed, u must be wondering...

According to WebMD.com, flaxseed has all sorts of healthy components but it owes its healthy reputation primarily to three ingredients:
1) Omega-3 essential fatty acids, "good" fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. Each tablespoon of ground flaxseed contains about 1.8 grams of plant omega-3s.

2) Lignans, which have both plant estrogen and antioxidant qualities. Flaxseed contains 75- 800 times more lignans than other plant foods.

3) Fiber. Flaxseed contains both the soluble and insoluble types.

WOAH!!! Now more excuses reasons to snack! So what are u waiting for? Go on and snack!!! Heehee.

My latest batch of flaxseed bakes is........

Ginger Flax Cookies

I wanted to make them all ♡♡♡ but after six, I got really impatient & lazy! Aiya... never mind lah, whatever shapes, they all taste the same as same cookie dough mah. Kekeke.
